The Mining Code 2011 as amended by Law No. L/2013/053/CNT in 2013 regulates the prospecting, exploration, exploitation, possession, holding, circulation, trade and processing of mineral or fossil substances and the tax regime applicable to these activities. The official version of the primary law is in French and there are no official translations of this law into other languages. The government regulating entity is the Ministry of Mines and Geology.
