
The Mining Code of the Republic of Guinea was adopted by the National Council on 9 September 2011 by Law L/2011/006/CNT. The Code was amended in 2013 by Law L/2013/053/CNT. The amendment will be uploaded shortly. The law is available on the official government website (http://www. contratsminiersguinee.org/about/legislation.html). The official version of the law is in French and there is an official English translation available on the same government website. The government regulating entity is the Ministry of Mines and Geology. The country's mining contracts are available at resourcecontracts.org and contratsminiersguinee.org/about/projets.html.
