The Tanzania Mining Act, adopted in 2010 and revised in 2018 to incorporate all the various amendments as at December 2018, regulates the prospecting for minerals, mining, processing and dealing in minerals and the payment of royalties in Tanzania. The law is available on the official website of the government (https://mem.go.tz/acts-policies/). The official language of the law is English and there are no official translations of this law into other languages. The government regulating entity is the Ministry of Energy and Minerals.
